They are easy to install, you need to get the measurements right though, I have done a few of them for my mate (he owns a 4wd accessory shop), only takes about 30-40 mins to do, just make sure that when you drill the holes you repaint the exposed metal. Have you done a search on the web for the directions, if not, try it first, if no success, then contact Milford, they may send you the directions, another way you could try to get the instructions is to ring some 4wd accessory shops, and see if they still have the directions. Did you find out how to fit your cargo barrier?
1997 HOLDEN COMMODORE CARGO BARRIER FULL CAGE TYPE VT-VX. COMMODORE CARGO BARRIER FULL PERSPEX TYPE(NO FITTING KIT).
I have just got one off ebay, but have since found out that its only for a 96 - 99 prado, as apparently they changed from 99 onwards. The 96 - 99 model barrier apparently just bolted into some type of grab handles, but this is supposed to be different on the 99 onwards ones. Can anyone elaborate, as i am still hopeful that i can use this cargo barrier. I contacted milford who told me they dont have a install kit for it as different models, but thought someone here might know another way.
Yes the hatchback is a nightmare - was great just zipping around town when it was just the two of us but now we are three complete with a portacot, pram etc etc the car is no longer big enough! How exciting Geo - new car. Can i ask did you get it privately or through a dealer? Can't believe how expensive the dealership cars are. Talk about huge 'mark up' even on the used cars! I can't wait to get a bigger one, i reckon i'll just load all of Ella's stuff in there just to see how much i can fit in lol!
